    What’s in My Camera Bag

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a photographer and videographer, it’s that the gear you bring is as critical as your creative vision. My camera bag is more than just equipment; it’s a toolkit for storytelling, no matter the conditions or challenges. Whether I’m capturing cinematic footage, shooting high-resolution landscapes, or experimenting with creative lighting, every piece of gear in my bag has a purpose. Here's a closer look.

    Cameras

    • Sony FX-6 (x2): My go-to cinema camera for professional video projects. The FX-6 delivers stunning clarity, dynamic range, and exceptional performance in any environment.
    • Sony A7S3: Low-light wizardry? Yes, please. This camera excels in challenging lighting conditions, making it a staple for stunning night shots or dimly lit venues.
    • Sony A7RV: The go-to for ultra-high resolution photography. Ideal for landscapes, detailed portraits, and projects requiring impeccable detail.
    • Sony A7IV & Sony A9: Perfect for versatility and speed, these cameras are ideal for hybrid shoots and fast-paced action photography.
    • DJI Action 5 Pro & Osmo Pocket 3: For dynamic, on-the-go shooting, they're essential tools. Whether it’s action sports or capturing creative B-roll, these compact systems pack a punch.

    Lenses

    • Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM Lens: My workhorse lens. It’s versatile enough for everything from landscapes to high-impact portraits.
    • Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II: Great for telephoto needs, like compressing distance or capturing clean portraits with creamy bokeh.
    • Prime Lenses: From the Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM for dreamy, shallow depth-of-field portraits to the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art Lens for razor-thin focus, these primes add that extra “wow” to shots.
    • Manual Lenses: The Laowa Argus 45mm f/0.95 and Zhongyi Speedmaster 85mm f/1.2 are top-tier. Their manual focus helps me slow down and be intentional with my composition.

    Lighting Kits

Lighting can make or break a shoot, and I’m all about control.

    • Flash Kits: The Flashpoint XPLOR 600 Pro TTL and eVOLV AD200 pocket flashes shine in both studio and outdoor setups. They offer power and reliability with ease of use.
    • Continuous Lights: The Stella Pro Reflex S and Godox M600D are my constant companions for video shoots. They provide consistent, high-quality illumination for professional-grade footage.
    • Specialty Lights: Tools like the GVM RGB LED Wand allow me to add creative pops of color and drama to scenes, pushing boundaries when needed.

    Drone & Stabilization Gear

    • DJI Mavic 3 Pro: Reliable, portable, and capable of capturing jaw-dropping aerial shots. It’s a game-changer for putting a new perspective into storytelling.
    • DJI RS2 Pro & Ronin 2 Pro: Rock-steady stabilization for handheld footage when I need my camera moves to look cinematic and natural. Paired with the Ready Rig Support, long-duration shoots are no longer a challenge.

    Other Essentials

    • Think Tank Bags: My travel workhorses. The Airport Security V2.0 and Impact Light Kit Roller Bag ensure my gear stays safe, organized, and accessible.
    • Apple MacBook Pro M1 Max & Cintiq Pro 24: These are my editing and post-production powerhouses. With unmatched speed and efficiency, they allow me to bring my vision to life seamlessly.

    Why These Tools Matter

Each piece in this setup has been chosen to solve a problem or meet a challenge I’ve faced. From on-location shoots with unpredictable light to the need for absolute resolution in studio-grade images, my gear gives me the flexibility to adapt and exceed expectations. Whether I’m shooting for a high-profile client or expanding my creative horizons, this reliable ensemble ensures I’m always prepared for the unexpected.
